Altum Frames is a young film production company founded in 2021 in Prague. We focus mainly on the production of fiction, animation and documentary films. Our goal is to support young filmmakers and we pride ourselves on creating a free environment and ideal production facilities for their projects. We support like-minded entities coming from the EU and strive for the growth of professional culture in the CEE region.

Our company is also active in the commercial sphere, where we provide production of commercial spots and custom projects. In addition to feature film production, we are also heavily involved in animation. We produce animated spots / commercials in several animation techniques (stop-motion, flat animation, 2D digital cartoon animation or 3D animation).

Producer

We are looking for projects by young artists that emphasize the authenticity of expression, across forms and genres.

We produce fiction, animated and documentary films.

We support co-production projects originating from the EU and aim to grow audiovisual culture in the CEE region.

Production focus

Minority co-production

Co-production with Czech Republic.

Annual budget for minority co-productions: CZK 40 mil (EUR 1,6 mil).

The Fund announces calls for Minority Co-production subsidies twice a year.

What is supported:

Feature, TV, animation and documentary films
International films at least partially produced in the Czech Republic using Czech goods and services
Films involving a Czech producer as a supplier of Czech creative elements or as a minority co-producer (contributing the required minority funds)
Official co-production on the basis of a bilateral agreement or the European Convention on Cinematographic Co-production
